Recognizing Excellence
Each year, CS presents thousands of dollars in scholarships and awards to outstanding undergraduates, in recognition of their achievement and leadership contributions in the classroom, research lab, and the community. These scholarships and awards are made possible by generous donations from alumni, friends, and corporate partners.

Campus and College Awards
Merit Scholarships for Incoming Freshmen
The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign offers merit scholarships to incoming freshmen. The merit scholarships are based (at least partly) on scores on the ACT or SAT and on the high school rank. A student’s application to the university serves as the scholarship application.
